Dad-dad-dad

When I am excited to tell my dad something, it usually come out as, “Dad-dad-dad.” It is a practice that started when I was little, and it still continues to present.

Father, what are You saying this afternoon?

My name is not The.

What is the way you talk about your own dad amongst your siblings? You don’t say “The Father.” You just call him “Dad.” Then when you are talking about him to others you say, “my dad.”

I told you what to call Me.

My Son Jesus reveals Me to you, and He told His disciples to say:
Πάτερ ἡμῶν —
Our Father.

He called me, “Abba, Father.”

Won’t you do the same?

Αββά Πάτερ
